After the publication of the “Order SND / 399/2020, of May 9, for the relaxation of certain restrictions of national scope”, published in the BOE this morning, which reflected freedom of movement within the same province, it was not clear if it would be possible to travel to the second residences.
Initially, Health stated that it would not be possible to travel to second residences, but the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, at a press conference hours later announced that it would finally be possible to travel to second residences.
The change in criteria when rectifying this decision is due to the contradiction that occurred at first about being able to go to sleep in a hotel in the province, and instead not a second residence, therefore the Government has decided to back down and allow displacement to second homes.
Starting this Monday, May 11, mobility will finally be extended to the entire Region of Murcia, and with the possibility of those who have a second residence being able to enjoy it.
