Businesses, SMEs (Small & Medium sized businesses) and the Self-Employed will have direct subsidies from the Town Council
It is a direct subsidy to alleviate the terrible economic effects produced by COVID-19
A new economic injection for SMEs, self-employed and businesses that have seen their businesses closed or with a decrease in turnover of 75%, may benefit from aid that the government team is going to approve in plenary on Tuesday April 28.
This aid, to which a € 1 million item will be allocated, is aimed at 2 cases:
– Business closure by the Royal Decree of the State of Emergency, may obtain a direct grant of €1,500, to which € 750 may be added if it has from 1 to 9 workers, or € 1,500 in the case of having 10 or more workers, with a maximum of 49 workers.
– Open businesses, but with a drop in turnover of 75% with respect to the last semester (6 months), may qualify for a direct grant of € 1,000, to which € 750 may be added if they have from 1 to 9 workers, or € 1,500 in the case of having 10 or more workers, with a maximum of 49 workers.
Said subsidy, which will be approved at the next plenary session, will have a period of months to accredit each of the subsidies through a technical office. The amount of the subsidy will be obtained from various items of the municipal budget, for example almost € 500,000 from the Department of festivities, € 40,000 from the Department of Culture, etc.
