The Health Minister Manuel Villegas expressed his concern about it at press conference

The Regional Minister of Health of the Region of Murcia, Manuel Villegas, announced yesterday at a press conference that: “we will have to adapt to what the (State) Ministry tells us”, to which he added that “We are very concerned about the fact that there may be de-confinement early which could cause a “knock on effect” from other regions that are in quarantine, and may put our Region at risk”.

Murcian Health Authority is concerned that its good results will be seen as an enticement for people who have their second residence in our Region. The Regional Government is not confident in a new phase of de-confinement and wants to apply favourable criteria to shield our region so that de-escalation is most fruitful.
