Change in COVID19 Measures MURCIA REGION
Twenty municipalities in the Region of Murcia will be able to open their bar/restaurant terraces ONLY for groups of cohabitants (those from the SAME HOUSEHOLD)
The bars and restaurant terraces may open with a capacity of 75% in: Ricote, Alcantarilla, Torre Pacheco, Totana, Cehegín, Alhama de Murcia, Los Alcázares, Archena, La Unión, Lorquí, Mazarrón, Águilas, Abanilla, Fuente Álamo, Blanca and Puerto Lumbreras, as they have lowered from “extreme risk” to “very high risk”.
These municipalities join the other municipalities which already had their terraces open: Villanueva Del Río Segura, Aledo, Ojós and Librilla.
In addition, those that live in the above listed municipalities will be able to leave their localities to go to other areas that are not classed as “extreme risk” areas.
The following municipalities continue being “extreme risk” areas and therefore terraces will not be permitted to open and they will also remain with a perimetral closure: Yecla, Abarán, Albudeite, Ceutí, Cieza, Ulea, Mula, Beniel, Caravaca de la Cruz, Las Torres de Cotillas, San Pedro del Pinatar, Murcia, Jumilla, Bullas, Lorca, Campos del Río, San Javier, Alguazas, Moratalla, Molina de Segura, Cartagena, Fortuna, Santomera, Calasparra and Pliego.
These measures are believed to come into force from Wednesday 10th February but is yet to be confirmed.
