18 more municipalities in the Region of Murcia will open the terraces of bars and restaurants starting this Wednesday, February 17th.
Social gatherings, whether on terraces, or in public and private spaces (both closed and open), can be a maximum of up to two people (if not from same household).
If all participants live together, meetings may be of more people.
This was decided this Monday by the Covid-19 Monitoring Committee after the decrease in the incidence of coronavirus cases registered in recent weeks.
The 19 towns that open this Wednesday are Murcia, Cartagena, Lorca, Molina de Segura, Jumilla, Moratalla, Calasparra, Bullas, Mula, Campos del Río, Albudeite, Fortuna, Alguazas, San Javier, Santomera, Las Torres de Cotillas, Ceutí, San Pedro del Pinatar and Caravaca De la Cruz.
These towns are added to the other 20 in which the measures had already been relaxed last week (Ricote, Alcantarilla, Torre Pacheco, Totana, Cehegín, Alhama de Murcia, Los Alcázares, Archena, La Unión, Lorquí, Mazarrón, Águilas, Abanilla, Fuente Alamo, Blanca, Puerto Lumbreras, Librilla, Villanueva del Río Segura, Aledo and Ojós).
Movement will be permitted between all the above listed 39 municipalities from this Wednesday too.
Terraces may open up to 75% capacity. Inside of bars and restaurants must remain closed for the time being.
The towns that are still at extreme risk and that therefore will continue under the perimeter closure and without being able to open the terraces are: Ulea, Beniel, Yecla, Abarán, Pliego and Cieza.
